Tapo Capo

By: Tony Deaf on August 12, 2014

Like a crab it holds the strings,
Now the guitar really rings
Like a bell . I'm set to go,
In any key my song will flow.
No more stressing over pitch.....
Sorry! This review's so kitch.

Nice little Gadget

By: Lemons on January 21, 2014

The capo part of this is fine, it's reasonably tight on the strings and has a fast release. For the tuner you have to set the option to 'C' (for chromatic) and it will then read out the pitch of any string you play on any fret. Or you can put the capo on and tune to whichever fret you choose. If you use the Tapo in G mode then it will only tune open strings.

My main quibble is the interface which can be difficult to read due to the angle. A better design would have been a readout display that you can swivel into the most readable position.

The tuner is fairly accurate, though not perfect.

Unfortunately I broke mine when my guitar fell over, which is why I'm here to get another one. It's a useful little gadget at a good price.
