Apple announced yesterday a new addition to the Lightroom family: Lightroom for Apple TV. The decision comes after Apple stated they wanted users to feel Lightroom is the one choice for photography and sharing photos with anyone, anywhere with the best quality. With the release of Apple TV this can now be achieved. Having the wow factor by displaying your favourite photos in the comfort of your own home and on the big screen will certainly go down well!

So how does it work? You will be able to share photos one by one in a slideshow, be able to use stop and zoom and see every little detail within that photo. Alongside this, you can navigate through your photographs to that special moment you are looking for. You can view and share all of your synced Lightroom photos including photos you’ve uploaded via Lightroom CC on your desktop, mobile or web.

What are the requirements? Lightroom for Apple TV requires an Apple TV 4th Gen as well as a Creative Cloud subscription to login. The app can be downloaded for free from the App Store on your Apple TV, and is available right now.
