Eye strain is a big problem for most computer users and for editors working in a dimly lit room the problem can be much greater. Did you know you can be causing yourself to suffer with eye strain, back pain and neck pain?

We worked with Optical Express in the UK to ensure we developed a product which would help remove these problems.

“This innovation should significantly reduce eye strain symptoms. This will ultimately improve efficiency for the user & improve eye health in the long term” said Stephen Hannan, Clinical Services Director of Optical Express.

What version of Resolve does this keyboard have shortcuts for?

By Kevin on June 24, 2016

This keyboard is fully compatible with the latest version of DaVinci Resolve.

When will these be back in stock again? I've been looking since March now and they've been permanently out of stock!

By Tim on September 5, 2016

Hey Tim,

Good news they're now back in stock!

I've moved to Davinci Resolve12.5 as my main editing program and would like to retire my old FCP keyboard.
Do you have any plans to release a Resolve keyboard for editors?
What I'm looking for is basically the same keys as the Logic for FCP keyboards but configured for R12.

Hi James

Good news, we have a full collection of Davinci Keyboards and Covers:

Two questions, actually. I see the DaVinci Resolve Keyboard - Backlit Mac. Two questions: Its the keyboard aluminum (preferred) or is it plastic. and 2) I see keyboards specifically for DaVinci Resolve 12.5.... is this one for DaVinci Resolve 12.5?

By Rick on October 3, 2016

Hi Rick - We can confirm this is a plastic keyboard and works perfectly for DaVinci Resolve 12.5.

is the back light adjustable - i.e. off, low, mid, high?
can i extend my mouse from it?

By tom on October 10, 2016

Hey Tom - Yes the backlit has three modes, great for all situations. There are no USB ports in the keyboard.

Working with Resolve 12.5 and being mapped for resolve 12.5 are two different things. BMD has changed some of its keyboard mapping. Is it up to date?

By Dario on November 12, 2016

Hi Dario - Thanks for the message. We can confirm the keyboard is fully up to date. You're going to love it!

Your blog from January shows a Mac/PC hybrid keyboard for Resolve, but the store shows a Mac only version. Is there a PC or hybrid version available?

By Diarmuid on December 28, 2016

Hey Diarmuid - The PC versions are now available on this page. Enjoy

By Yerlan on April 12, 2017

Hi Very interesting question. The keyboard makes an average of 57 decibels when in use (typing.), which makes it a very nice level. Hope this helps

By: Harry S on February 20, 2016

No sooner did I step out for a cup-of-joe, that I found my client taking more than a few photos
of my brand new backlit keyboard (DaVinci Resolve). She thought it was the coolest piece of gear ever and a custom creation of mine and I of course told her "it was!!". Well, it's all about keeping my clients happy. Thanks guys for allowing me this one time to shine without lifting a finger!!
