This isn't a sticker set or a silicone cover. We take a brand-new Apple Magic Keyboard and fit it with physical, colour-coded Editors Keys keycaps, each one hand-finished here in the UK. You keep the slim aluminium design, the precise typing feel and the Touch ID sensor, and every key is printed with its Final Cut Pro command.

Your whole edit under your fingers

The essentials are where Final Cut Pro puts them: Connect, Insert, Append and Overwrite. The Select, Trim, Position, Range, Blade, Hand and Zoom tools are each one key away, along with Set Start and Set End, Skimming, Snap, Marker, Favorite and Reject, and Nudge Left/Right. J, K and L handle playback, and Previous/Next Edit and Previous/Next Frame sit on the arrow keys.

The red number row matches the red Command keys and opens the Browser, Timeline, Viewer, Inspector, Effects, Color Board, Video Scopes, Audio Enhancements and Background Tasks. The purple numeric keypad matches the purple Control keys and applies keyword tags 1–9 and nudges timecode, which is ideal when you're logging footage.

UK and US versions

UK version: UK English layout, USB-C port, supplied with a genuine Apple woven USB-C charge cable. Touch ID requires a Mac with Apple silicon (M-series) running macOS 15.1 or later.

US version: US English layout, Lightning port, supplied with a genuine Apple USB-C to Lightning cable. Touch ID requires a Mac with Apple silicon (M-series) running macOS 11.4 or later.

On other Macs, both versions work as a standard wireless keyboard, without Touch ID.
