Since the launch of Editors Keys we've always heavily valued our friends across the pond. From product launches and trade shows to collaborators and customers we've always had a great support base in the United States but, unfortunately, the recent months have seen the sporadic and ever-increasing rise in difficulty to simply ship our products from here in the UK to our community of creators across to the USA.
Since the initial announcement of the Trump Tariffs back in April (that seem to have been on-again off-again ever since) there's been no clear way for businesses like ourselves to help keep costs as low as possible for our US-based customers. It's been just as difficult to keep US customers informed on any cost or logistical developments and changes as, at times, they seem to be dropped just as quickly as they've been implemented. The latest backward step has come in the shape of non-duty paid shipments no longer being accepted at the US border meaning that our go-to courier Royal Mail, for our smaller, standard-shipped items can no longer be used and that the next best service who can is likely to be 4 x more expensive so unfortunately our prices have been increased slightly to accommodate this.
We're currently looking into ways to make this process of ordering through us as simple, cost-effective and informed as possible for our US customers and will be sure to keep you posted on any developments. As for now we can only apologise for any inconvenience this is causing and reassure you that we will strive to keep costs as low as possible.
