This isn't a sticker set or a silicone cover. We take a brand-new Apple Magic Keyboard and fit it with physical, colour-coded Editors Keys keycaps, each one hand-finished here in the UK. You keep the slim aluminium design, the precise typing feel and the Touch ID sensor, and every key is printed with its Ableton Live command.

Built around how Live works

F1–F8 switch Tracks 1–8 on and off, F9 arms Record and F10 jumps Back to Arrangement. The number row sets the grid (Narrow, Widen, Triplet, Snap and Fixed) and quantize values from 1/16 note to 1 bar, and shows or hides the Session, Arrangement, Clip, Device and Browser views. The letter keys cover Hot-Swap, Split Clip, Consolidate, Insert Track, Insert Silence, Group Tracks, Fade, Automation, Draw Mode, Loop Switch, Metronome, MIDI velocity and History Back/Forward.

The numeric keypad mirrors the grid, quantize and view keys, and adds Zoom In/Out, Deactivate Clip and Load Device.

UK and US versions

UK version: UK English layout, USB-C port, supplied with a genuine Apple woven USB-C charge cable. Touch ID requires a Mac with Apple silicon (M-series) running macOS 15.1 or later.

US version: US English layout, Lightning port, supplied with a genuine Apple USB-C to Lightning cable. Touch ID requires a Mac with Apple silicon (M-series) running macOS 11.4 or later.

On other Macs, both versions work as a standard wireless keyboard, without Touch ID.
