Great Keyboard

Recently received the new Logic Pro backlit keyboard. It is well-built and sturdy. The backlit and wireless capabilities are the two main reasons why I purchased this model. Editing in Logic is much easier than with my previous Logic keyboard cover, and I like the ability to choose between different backlit intensities.

A few improvements - back to the original

Although a nice keyboard, I find that this and the previous USB wired model with black keys did not offer as much contrast to the blue, green and red key text that the original Logic white key keyboard in ambient lighting. The backlighting helps on all but the red text. Also, the latest version lays entirely flat on the desk unlike the previous versions that allowed for some slight angling up toward the function keys. Another change from the prev. version is the location of the screen brightness and the audio volume/mute changing. Maybe this had to be done to accommodate new Logic features. I go from one Mac to another with the different keyboard version and it is a little frustrating.
